The rare Cereus Forbesii "Spiralis" is a beautiful, twisting spiral cactus. It grows quickly, has a striking elongated stem and makes spectacular blooms. This trunk-less cactus forms numerous tall, columnar blue-green, spiral stems that can branch at the base in a candelabra-like arrangement. Stems can reach 6-13 feet in height and 4-5 inches in diameter, and have five to nine widely spaced ribs. "Spiralis" is a heavy bloomer! When blossoms are pollinated it will produce large purple fruit that are not poisonous. Handle carefully, as the spines are sharp. This is a truly rare plant and will make a great addition to any plant enthusiast's collection!
